You have dissolved into the night

Your  eyes, your arms

The way you purse your lips

To a difficult question

The red backpack

You carry like a talisman

They have found their way

Into the paintings at the gallery

That little girl’s giggle

My latte’s amorous aroma

The wind’s flirtatious touch

I walk in the dark

Ensconced in your love’s warm light
